Abstract

At the Azerbaijan National Conservatory's 'National Musical Instrument Improvement Laboratory', restoration and enhancement efforts have also led to the creation of many national musical instruments. The newly created musical instruments shed light on solving the issue of extending the Azerbaijan folk music orchestra to the 7-octave range found in European symphonic orchestras. The presented article provides information on several newly developed and restored musical instruments. The instruments have been restored in the scientific research laboratory. Reviving forgotten musical instruments is a contribution to Azerbaijani music culture. We tirelessly work on this issue, trying to solve theoretical problems alongside practical tasks. Thus, in this new scientific article made available to the reader, we address the restoration, development, and renewal of forgotten musical instruments. The article includes illustrations of the musical instruments. The range of sounds, dimensions, and fret features of the newly developed musical instruments are presented in the article.
